Since I can remember I have always been interested in telling stories: in photography, in film, in writing, in advertising, or even at the dinner table with my family. In the future I want to do just that.

I have a love for production and filmmaking, a passion for inventive strategy, a strong work ethic and most importantly, an eagerness to learn new things.

At the University of Kansas, I am involved in The National Student Advertising Competition and The Agency (student ad organization) on campus. Outside of campus, I am involved in my sorority, Kappa Alpha Theta, and I volunteer at the Lawrence Humane Society. You could also find me at a coffee shop on Massachusetts Street or at Allen Fieldhouse watching a KU basketball game.

Hi there, I'm Elise.

My official major is: Digital Marketing Communications, Advertising, and Public Relations & Media Arts and Production;

with a minor in business. Instead I like just say I'm studying advertising.

When I’m not in school, I love to travel. I find it fascinating to learn about other cultures and fully immerse myself in them. Some of my favorite trips have been to far away places like Italy, New York, and Paris; but I have also loved smaller getaways like Tulsa, Pittsburg, and Austin.

I come from a family of farmers and teachers. I grew up around people who were dedicated to hard work and lifelong learning. These are two things I strive to do every day.
